Passphrase Pro

Ready to Secure

Strength: Good (Secure for most accounts)

Why Use a Passphrase?

Traditional passwords like "P@ssw0rd123!" are surprisingly easy for modern computers to "brute-force" (guess by trying millions of combinations). A Passphrase uses a string of random, unrelated words. They are much longer, making them mathematically near-impossible to crack, yet they are far easier for a human to remember.

Is this tool safe?

Yes. This generator runs entirely in your web browser. We do not send your words to any server, and we do not store what you generate. In fact, you could turn off your internet after loading this page, and the "Generate" button would still work perfectly.

What makes a "Strong" passphrase?

Inspired by the "Correct Horse Battery Staple" philosophy of online security.
